The Wisconsin Idea in Action
Celebrate 175 years of UW-Madison
As the University of Wisconsin-Madison celebrates its 175th anniversary, Garden & Landscape Expo’s event partners Wisconsin Public Media (PBS Wisconsin and Wisconsin Public Radio) and UW-Madison – Extension Horticulture Program reflect on the impact of our work across the state — and beyond — through a horticulture- and media-focused historical exhibit. Together, we celebrate the reach and impact of The Wisconsin Idea, both in our past and in our future.
Photo Competition Exhibit
Designed to bring another form of imagery and perspective to Garden & Landscape Expo, the photography competition allows amateur photographers from Wisconsin to demonstrate their skills and display their work. Photographs will be juried prior to the event, and selected photographs will be exhibited at the 2024 Garden & Landscape Expo.

The Farmers Market features farmers, food artisans and local food retailers. Products available at the market can include pickles and preserves, artisan cheeses, bakery, chocolate, greens, spices and herbs, hand-crafted meats and more.
