Advance online registration for hands-on workshops will begin December 15. During Garden Expo, registrations for remaining workshop openings will be taken at the Wisconsin Public Television booth.
Workshop fees include instruction and supplies. General admission ticket and parking must be purchased separately.

Ready to start relying on the grocery store less and your vegetable garden more for organic produce year round? With a little planning, you can eat food from your garden during all 12 months. Learn how to strategically plan your garden with easy to grow and store crops, how to elevate production with simple maps and records, when to plant crops so you are harvesting from your garden for holiday meals, and how to grow more food with less work. Join Faith Anacker of Fizzeology Foods as she demonstrates how to make kimchi using local, organic, and seasonal vegetables. Students will leave with their own jar of kimchi and the confidence to make more at home. (2 hrs.)
