Registration for remaining workshop openings will be available at the Wisconsin Public Television booth during Garden Expo. Workshop fees include instruction and supplies. General admission ticket and parking must be purchased separately.

Session Description
This fun and interactive workshop allows participants to sketch along with the presenter while learning basic drawing principles regarding composition, line, tone, texture and basic perspective as a way to further enjoy exterior spaces. Basic supplies will be provided. (1 hr.)

James Steiner has over forty years experience working as an architectural, site and interior designer. He has taught design and visual communication at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture since 2000, and has his own design business. James developed a love of drawing as a child and has promoted the fun and creativity of learning to draw most of his life. He believes that "everything starts with an idea" and that, with an open mind and willingness to try, almost everyone can have fun expressing themselves creatively.

Session Description
In this workshop you will create your own succulent garden. A container, dirt and all the succulents you will need are provided. Plus, add fabulous accent pieces to make it uniquely your own. (1 hr.)
